Giallo Veneziano - Granite Countertop in Avon, CT
This project in Avon, CT was part of a new addition which included the gutting and remodel of the existing kitchen. The kitchen faces north and with only 1 window the homeowners' objective was to create a look that was warm and bright. The old dark wood cabinets and outdated laminate countertops have been replaced with a linen white finish with a light honey glace.
The countertop is Giallo Veneziano granite which has warm caramel tones with flecks of darker brown and black. The single bowl sink is an Elkay Gourment E-Granite natural stone composite sink(http://www.elkayusa.com/cps/rde/xchg/elkay/hs.xsl/residential_featured_products.html) purchased at Refined Stone. The backsplash is a porcelain tile that has the look of slate but performs like a porcelain was purchased and installed by Refined Stone as well.
